The work of the wyoDesktop project is divided into the following stages. Depending on what's available some tasks have to be fully created, others might just be adapted. The status of each task can be viewed here.
Correctly speaking the following tasks doesn't belong to the wyoDesktop project. But they are important prerequisites, therefore wyoDesktop will take care of them as well.
Stage 1 contains all tasks which are needed for a minimal working environment. The goal of this stage is reached when the first application not belonging to wyoDesktop is running.
Stage 2 contains all tasks which allow running applications of other frameworks (i.e. GTK) together with wyoDesktop. This mainly means to collect any needed libraries and build them to use the framebuffer. The goal for this stage is to allow any application running with wyoDesktop.
Stage 3 finally contains all tasks which enhances each point with deficiencies regarding usability. The goal for stage 3 is to create an environment to allow fo building and creating new kinds of user interactions.
